On this Mother’s Day weekend Sharing the Victory makes a tribute to moms with a sports twist.

Ron Brown kicks the program off by interviewing Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. The Florida Gators quarterback talks about how his mother helped to influence and shape his life. He also encourages mothers to never give up on their children.

Later in the program, Brown turns the tables by interviewing Tim’s mom, Pam. Pam talks about how she and her husband raised Tim and their other children under Biblical principles. She also tells the gripping story of how she was encouraged to abort Tim because of pregnancy complications but instead, risked her own life to give birth to Tim.

Also, Julie Nimmons, President of Schutt Sports and the Vice-Chairwoman of FCA’s National Board, discusses the power of prayer. She describes how prayer helped her daughter and granddaughter through a very difficult situation.

And in "Coach’s Corner," FCA President Les Steckel, gives his own tribute to moms.

This weekend on Sharing the Victory, host Ron Brown opens up the program with a stimulating interview with Pat Williams, Senior Vice President with the Orlando Magic. Pat tells the story of how he was a young baseball executive climbing the top of the ladder but still feeling emptiness that he could not explain. Pat shares how being confronted with the claims of Christ changes his life.

Another amazing story takes place in the 2^nd segment of the program as Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton describes how he overcame a drug addiction to climb his way up to the Major Leagues.

And in the third segment, Ron Brown interviews TCU head baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle. Schlossnagle says his main goal beyond the playing field is to help develop his players for life after college baseball and try to be a light for Christ.

And in “Coach’s Corner,” FCA President Les Steckel, talks about how we sometimes need to refine our game plan for life.
