Dallas Baptist University
By integrating faith and learning, DBU challenges its students to permeate all areas of their lives with their faith in Christ. With 56 undergraduate majors to choose from, student athletes from across the nation are drawn to DBU for its academic excellence and caring family atmosphere.
DBU’s 14 varsity athletic programs include a NCAA Division I men’s baseball team and NCAA Division II men’s and women’s cross-country/track, golf, tennis, women’s soccer and volleyball teams. All intercollegiate athletic teams also hold membership in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
This fall, DBU will add men’s basketball to its repertoire of Christ-centered athletic teams. A women’s basketball team will begin competition in 2009. The Patriot Basketball teams will participate in NCAA Division II competition and will also be affiliated with the NCCAA.
